my journey so far

I believe that a single creative moment of connection can be life changing.

I believe that when we are given the space to pause, create, and connect - even briefly - something meaningful can shift.

My name is Lou Lou. I’m a creative wellbeing practitioner and Masters trained art therapist.

I guide people living through complex life challenges. Specialising in supporting partners of traveling professionals, adults navigating chronic pain, children and teens who are neurodivergent, and those who are non-verbal or experience selective mutism.

A space to express, explore, and grow

Who I am & What shapes my work

My work is informed not only by training, but by lived experience.

I hold a deep love for travel, creative expression, and connecting across cultures. I am a partner, step-parent, sister, and daughter. I have experienced loss and grief, and in 2024 I left Australia to live overseas. A transition that continues to expand my understanding of change, identity, and belonging.

These experiences shape how I show up: grounded, curious, and human.

What I offer

Registered as a Professional ANZACATA member.

I provide creative wellbeing sessions using simple, accessible art-based practices.

Sessions may support:

  • Regulating emotions and settling the nervous system during periods of stress, distance, or overwhelm

  • Gentle self-reflection and building insight, without pressure or expectation

  • Reconnecting with yourself when living with chronic pain, navigating time apart, or feeling stuck

  • Finding steadiness and a sense of safety within change, uncertainty, or complex life dynamics

You do not need to be an artist. You do not need the right words.

Curiosity is enough, and even that can arrive slowly.

My approach

I meet you where you are, without judgement, without teaching, and without giving advice.

This work is collaborative. Along the way, we may uncover moments that weren’t planned, and together we shape a space that supports safety, curiosity, and self-discovery.

You choose what you share, and how deeply you go.

Scope of Practice

This work offers creative wellbeing support.

It is not counselling, mental health treatment, diagnosis, or crisis support.
It is designed for people who want care, without pathologising, and who are drawn to creativity as a way of understanding themselves - even if they don’t consider themselves “creative.”

An invitation

You don’t need to have a clear goal to begin.
You don’t need to know what you want to work on.

If this feels like the kind of space you’ve been looking for, you’re welcome to begin.

You’ve already taken the first step by being here.
